Regulasi Emosi dan Penyesuaian Mahasiswa Baru Saat Pandemi: Pentingkah Dukungan Emosional Orang Tua?

The Covid-19 pandemic has made new students of the class 2020 experience three transitions at once in their lives. It takes a good ability to regulate emotions so that are able pass transition period successfully. This study aims examine role emotion regulation on adjust college during through emotional support parents as moderators for students. A total 247 from batch Gadjah Mada University participated voluntarily filling out online questionnaire. There measuring tools used, namely Emotion Regulation Scale, Student Adaptation College Questionnaire (SACQ), and Parental Emotional Support Scale. Moderation Regression Analysis was used test hypothesis results showed parental not proven moderate relationship between adjustment. However, shown have direct positive effect academic social adjustment (p < 0.05).
